PGD is indicated for patients with:
  1. Advanced maternal age
  2. Implantation failures
  3. Previous miscarriages
  4. Family history (including previous child born with chromosomal and genetic disorder)
  5. Parental aneuploidy
  6. Balanced translocation
  7. Some male factor infertility
  8. Family balance and sex selection

 

PGD provides benefits for patients. It can be used to help:

  1. Reduce the occurrence of Trisomic or Turner Syndrome offspring and other chromosomal abnormalities.
  2. Decrease miscarriages.
  3. Reduce multiple pregnancies.
